My future camera set up!

Well, I am in the motion of creating a documentary. I began to save up for my new set-up.
After extensively looking at the Canon 6d as my upgrade (from the 1100d), I stumbled across some footage that simply amazed me, I was looking at 70mb/s full 1080p glory. I was looking at the GH3, Panasonic's micro four thirds camera. Even though I am a bokeh-whore and i love shallow Depth of Field that the canon would give me, this camera blew me away, and as a self confessed camera-hollic, (Im obsessed really) the footage and shooting options outweighed the canon in every way. So here it is, the gh3. Yes, i know people have reviewed this to death so i wont bother, but this will be my set up, and my reasons.

My first set up option.

The first lens i would buy would be the 14-140mm f3.5-5.6 this is the closest to a standard canon lens and i think would cover most of my focal lengths i need.

The next lens i would buy (probably at the same time as the 14-140) is for low light situations, would be the 14mm prime lens with a aperture of 2.5 that's a whole stop below the zoom lens.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-H-H014E-Lumix-Pancake-Wide-Angle/dp/B004445O4A/ref=sr_1_1?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1389032391&sr=1-1&keywords=panasonic+lenses+g

 The second option

The 25mm leica prime lens, this would be a great lens for cinematography and it should have great DOF.

The last option

The last option would be to buy a gh3 with lens pack, i would probably look for the 12-35mm set, but this is overpriced, i would look on ebay for this one.

THE SCRIPT BEGINS!

(Skiffle was slang for rent party (sometimes called a house party) a social occasion where tenants hire a musician or band to play and pass the hat to raise money to pay their rent.)

Start with cut from the interviews talking about skiffle music.

Title -

Skiffle started in the 1920s Chicargo, as a obscure combination of blues, jazz and folk music that had heavy roots in New Orlines jazz music. The music was formed by jug bands that would play improvised blues and jazz songs traveling across the American south. In the early 20th century though they were not called skiffle bands.

first being recorded as skiffle in 1925, the term skiffle was used in  the name of Jimmy O'Bryant and his Chicago Skifflers.

Great!

Skiffle documentary day 1

Today after visiting an old nabour, my dad thought up an idea, that i fell in love with. A documentary about the 1950s skiffle music scene in Portsmouth. Ray, the nabour was actually the skiffle player, and he was still in contact with some of the original members of his band, this was great. The Portsmouth music scene is all but gone, but not in the players minds.

THIS WILL LOOK MESSY. SORRY.

The Artist _short film.

This was a 30 second idea. The video was made in less then 10 minutes and was edited in a hour, thanks to the distraction of t.v. Anyways, enjoy.
Shot on 1100d.
